Graduate Research Assistant Position

We have multiple RA openings for strong Ph.D. and Master's students with computer science background (or equivalent) and interests in any of the following topics.
  • Computer Security
  • Networks and Systems
  • Cyber-Physical Systems
  • Modeling and Simulation of Large-Scale Systems
Required skills:   
  • Strong self-motivation
  • Strong background in networking and systems
  • Proficient programming skills (e.g., C/C++/Java/Python, and Linux system),
  • Strong mathematical background is highly preferred

Undergraduate Research Assistant Position

We are looking for excellent undergraduate or graduate students to participate in our research projects. Research assistantship and summer interns are available.

Preferences are given to students who have already been involved in our research projects (see below), and students meeting the following criteria:
  • Good programming skills (e.g., C, C++, Java, iOS, Android, Python);
  • Good knowledge of algorithms, computer networks and cyber security;
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and deadline-oriented;

    • Taking "Honors Thesis" with Prof. Kevin Jin
    • Summer intern
    • Hourly research assistant

  • For master students
    • Taking "Master's Thesis" with Prof. Kevin Jin (full sponsorship available for UofA students)
